Renowned Ghanaian culinary creator Chef Abby is set to embark on an exciting West Africa Food Tour beginning 20 August 2026, following the success of her Ghana Heritage Month food tour across the United Kingdom.
The regional culinary journey will take Chef Abby to Nigeria, Togo, Senegal, Cape Verde, Liberia, and Côte d’Ivoire, where she will collaborate with local food creators, chefs, and cultural influencers to celebrate the rich and diverse culinary traditions of West Africa.

The tour is expected to spotlight some of the region’s most iconic dishes while promoting cross-cultural exchange through food. In addition to creating engaging culinary content, Chef Abby will participate in a series of high-profile meetings with key stakeholders in the food, tourism, and creative industries aimed at strengthening regional partnerships and elevating West African cuisine on the global stage.

Speaking about the initiative, Chef Abby described the tour as an opportunity to showcase the shared heritage and unique flavours that define West African gastronomy, while inspiring greater appreciation for the region’s food culture.
The tour builds on the momentum of her successful Ghana Heritage Month campaign in the UK, where she introduced international audiences to authentic Ghanaian cuisine through cooking demonstrations, cultural events, and collaborations.
With growing global interest in African cuisine, Chef Abby’s latest initiative is expected to further position West Africa as a premier culinary destination, highlighting not only its diverse dishes but also the stories, traditions, and people behind them.
